Fun with Flickers
We went out to 3 different birding sites today, but the last stop at Juanita Bay Park was by far the best. As the afternoon progressed, the clouds started to move in in earnest, so we decided to pack it up and head out. Just as we were leaving, we noticed some Northern Flickers flying in circles around some trees. We went over to investigate, and it was males defending their territory.
